This bog was designed to capture my experience as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Bulgaria. Inspired by my travels, I am now a Travel Advisor helping others create travel memories of their own. Go to matt.travel to learn more.
I grew up in Sunnyvale, a part of the San Francisco Bay Area. After graduating from the University of San Francisco in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, I chose to join the Peace Corps for two years. I am currently serving in Bulgaria helping the Municipality of Bratsigovo with various projects including; Economic development,European Integration, Eco-tourism, and website development. This pic looks exactly like a road we took in Macedonia to get to an observation post and the Serb and Bulgaria border (If I'm remembering correctly). It was called Kriva Planka because the houses were across a creek with only rickity wood bridges (as in planks) for the people to cross.
